New Liz Lisa Stuff

Hello lovelies!

If you guys are a reader of mine you know of my love for Liz Lisa. I hadn't purchased from the brand in a while. To be honest, I was avoiding visiting the website because I didn't want to spend too much money, but I saw they restocked some items I've been loving for so long, so I purchased them because they were also having a sale. They are getting rid of their spring/summer items.
I finally have a Liz Lisa Champouf, and it's a a pink one, and it's huge!

Since I found out about it I've been wanting one, but they rarely sell them on the website. I finally have one, it's so fluffy and soft. It also has rosy cheeks, I'm so in love with it. ♥

Also bought this cushion cover. If it weren't so bright it would match my bedding.

Finally a pink pullover. I love the bows detailing around the shoulders.

That's it for today!

Yesstyle selling Liz Lisa, Me Jane and Golds Infinity... say what?

Hey guys!
Remember my last post about yesstyle?

Well, today when I logged in on tumblr I checked the Liz Lisa tag as usual, and what do I see. Apparently like the title of this post reads, Yesstyle is now selling well known Japanese brands like Liz Lisa, Me Jane and Golds Infinity.

I will be doing the comparison with Liz Lisa, since it is the brand I'm the most familiar with.

My first thought was they they would be selling replicas some of their well known designs from older collections.  But like you can see from the image below, they are selling the new spring collection. The prices are similar to the one in the Liz Lisa site.
But coming back to my previous post. I don't know for sure if they are original Liz Lisa, since you can already can get these items on taobao for cheaper, and yesstyle sometimes sells taobao stuff for a higher markeup. Also if you read Liz Lisa's disclaimer on their page. (click to enlarge)
After reading the disclaimer you find out they don't sell their stuff anywhere else but their physical stores and webshop.

Honestly I'm, dying to find out whether the LL at yesstyle is real, but spending $80 dollar just to find out seems like a waste. Maybe I'll buy something when it is sold out at the webshop.

Liz Lisa Fukubukuro/ Lucky Pack 2013

Hey guys!
After two agonizing weeks with no internet. I finally have internet. It made me feel like those days when I was a teen and myspace was cool, and I had to log in everyday, and I would just go crazy if I didn't had any internet even for a minute. Instead this time I didn't really go crazy because I work, and have my boyfriend, have been cleaning, and fighting WW3 with my sister. Also my parents are now foster parents to two little girls. So you can tell that I have kept very busy that has preventing me from going bananas.

So last week my Liz Lisa lucky pack arrived! it arrived to my agent on the 1st, but I was waiting on another package from auctions to ship it all together, and it seemed like that package was shipped via Turtle Express. So it finally arrived on Tuesday.
Ribbon Boston Tote and Ribbon Boston Carry
Inside the Ribbon Boston Carry which is the small bag I got this.
A pretty  white cami with bows, and check out the straps, it has lace!
White cardigan, it was pretty lace detail in the front and the buttons are rose shaped.
This dress is so pretty, but as you can see the corduroy it is all wrinkled.

On the Boston Ribbon Tote came a total of 6 items.
A pouch, and it is so fluffy!
I honestly love this shirt so much. The lace detail is actually warm and fluffy to the touch.
One piece, cute, but I wish top part was made out of another material because it is very warm and I kind of think this one will be difficult to wear because it is one of those pieces that are in between seasons.
Shorts. I was scared this were not going to fit me, but they do.
The piece of outerwear I got. The tag says it retails for over 16000 yen. I don't think it is worth that price because it is rather thin.
Like all the Boston Ribbon Tote there is a gift and it comes in a separate bag, I got this shirt. So unlike traditional pink and flowery Liz Lisa.

I did like what I received and I think the items are way better from last year's bag. I might make some outfits post later.

Japanese Market Hauling

Hey guys!
So last week I went to the local Japanese markets here in San Diego with my boyfriend. A couple days later I went back with a friend and purchased some cute things.
This is the stuff I got on my trip
Eyelid glue, and Decorative Lower lashes # 3 Play cool. I haven't found a pair or lower lashes that looks good on me yet, so I will try out these. I bought the eyelid glue because, although I do have a crease, I have hooded eyes, which makes my eyelids almost look like monolids.
I bought these random things too. A sand clock and a tiny box for accessories.
Necessities for winter
Compression tights and some pencil erasers, they are tooth with cavities! My friend even bought one for herself.

Also bought this massage roller. I can be used on legs, arms and back. It actually feels so good!

That's all I bought. I my next posts will be reviews. I have so many products that I want to review so I will be more constant putting those out.

I Spoil Myself During the Holidays

Hey guys!
So I love the holiday season. Just seeing how some people decor their homes, and my favorite is the food. We Mexicans usually make tamales, mym mom only makes them once a year on Christmas eve because its hard work.

Anyways that is not even related to what I want to share. There is one thing I hate about the holidays... that is shopping for gifts.

Every store is having sale after sale, and offering free shipping I just can't resist those offers and have bought things for only myself. Its only a week before Christmas and I have not bought a thing for anyone. I know shame on me... so lets appreciate my new things.

Fannel pajamas from Forever 21 only $9 on black Friday sale
 Jewerich No.2 Lashes
I don't really like to post underwear, but I saw these at the Forever21 website, and they are so cute!!
Been wanting a floppy hat so got this one from forever21
I was looking for a Liz Lisa coat on Yahoo auctions and came across this Tralala Coat, it was only 3000 yen, and it's brand new still has the tags, it was originally 12,390 yen!
Popteen December Issue with Pikarin on the cover
I know this is super nerd, but got the Sailor V volume 1. It is a short manga only 2 volumes, but this is the basis to the story of Sailor Moon and I have always wanted to read this and since it is being republished I was able to find it on Barnes & Noble.

That's it

How to Buy From Liz Lisa

Hey guys!
From time to time I've gotten questions about this. So I decided to explain it all on this post. As many of you might have noticed already is not possible to buy directly from Liz Lisa because they don't ship overseas. So basically it only leaves us unlucky foreigners with few options to get their lovely products.

So here are some options in case you want to buy and are not in Japan.

1- Buy directly from the store using a shopping service

You have 2 options. Buy from the Liz Lisa Webstore or the Shibuya 109 Net Shop.

Buying from these options is the most expensive, but also the safest method if you are concerned with the authenticity of you clothes. The sale section is constantly updated and sometimes you can get items for 2000 yen! Check it everyday because the items sell fast and sometimes they restock.

If you decide to use tenso as your shopping service (as is recommended by Liz Lisa), you have to sign up at the Liz Lisa store, and go through the whole process of ordering by yourself. Be warned that there is no "English version" of the online store, so have a translator open at all times or use this great tutorial. You have to have a credit/debit card to purchase on the store. Tenso doesn't email you when the items get to their warehouse so check often. Tenso only ships the items via EMS. It is the most expensive method, but it is insured and fast. Be warned that although they say EMS might be fastest method sometimes it is not. Your package might be held by customs longer, and depending on your country you may have to pay taxes on import. I would recommend using tenso if there are few units available so you can ensure you will get the items you like.

The last two times I've ordered from Liz Lisa I've used treasure-japan.com as my shopping service. I'm pleased with it because I don't have to purchase the items myself. I just fill out the order form on their site and they do their job. Once the item gets to their warehouse they will email you. They offer you various shipping methods, so if you are not in a hurry to get your items you can use less expensive shipping methods. But I wouldn't recommend it if you are only a few units left because although they are fast sometimes the items you want to buy can sold out before they can place your order.

Usually shopping services will charge you around 10% of your order including local shipping plus paypal fee which is usually 4%. Tenso charges comission based on your items' weight.

2- Buy from auctions

Japan has their own versions of ebay which are Yahoo Auctions and Mbok. I'm not very experienced buying from auctions. I'm not even sure if foreigners can create an account to begin with. It all depends on the seller because some may accept international orders, some may not accept foreign credit cards or paypal.

The pro of buying from auctions is that you can sometimes find authentic pieces from previous collections at a good price or sold out items. There is also a con... there are fake Liz Lisa items being sold in Japan too. Some fake items might be sold there so just beware and read the descriptions. You can use a shopping  service like treasure-japan. They will place a bid for you, and will notify you if you win.

3- Buy from gyaru sales

This community is basicaly another gals selling their old clothes. Although there are some replicas most gals will tell you before hand if it's a replica or not.

Gyaru Community Sales
Gyaru Sales Facebook Group

4- Buy fake from Taobao

If  the authenticity of your clothes is something not important to you and looking for a bargain then taobao is for you.

Taobao is the Chinese version of Amazon. You can find about any imaginable piece from Liz Lisa for fairly cheap. Around $30 for a dress. The quality is ok, but it depends on the seller.

You will need a shopping service because some sellers don't ship overseas, and you need a Chinese bank account to pay. I recommend using taobaospree I've used them without any problem before, and have great customer service.

Some shops from Taobao that I've bought from and I like are Vivid's and HelloChild

5- Buy from Ebay

I do not trust ebay when it come to Liz Lisa because most of it is fake.
Here are some pointers to tell whether the item is fake or not. If the seller is located in Hong Kong, is offering a piece from an older collection. Has multiple items of the same piece, and has all the colors available, then it is fake!

I'm aware Liz Lisa has some official stores in Hong Kong, but Liz Lisa doesn't keep producing items from older collections. From time to time there might be a seller selling their old clothes, some are fake, but you can always ask the seller about the authenticity.

6- Buy from places like minky shop or sweetgyaru shop

I'ver never purchased from these, but I've read mix reviews. They are located in Hong Kong and some say that their clothes are actually replicas from Taobao and they sell them at x3 the price.

7- Foreign stores

Liz Lisa has some stores overseas. Mostly in Asia. Recently another store opened in San Francisco CA. It's located on the Kinokuniya Building in Japantown. They just opened about two weeks ago so there is not a lot of info about this yet.

Edit:  The store in San Francisco that sells Liz Lisa is called Maruq

So that's it, if you have any question you can always email me or leave a comment below.

New Stuff from Sasa, Charlotte Russe, and Lavender Hair

Hey guys!
My order from Sasa arrived earlier this week. I placed an order because they were having a special of free shippping if you purchased at least $19. There were some items that I wanted to buy for a while so I waited for a sale like this because I hate paying for shipping.
The Japanese markets in town sell dolly wink for a whooping $19 each. Sasa has them for 13 and no tax so I purchased some to try out.

- Dolly Wink no. 1
- Dolly Wink Liquid Liner in Black
- Dolly Wink no. 14
- Sana Esteny Hard Gel Massage.

On Friday I went to the mall to buy hair dye and decided to make a stop at Charlotte Russe. It is kind of a Forever21, but I usally don't shop there because the clothes are more geared towards clubbing occasions. This is what I bought.
Cat ear headbands like the Ones from One Spo. Don't know why I bought both, I couldn't decide.

So I did my hair again, because the pink from last week faded in 4 days.  I decided to go Lavender this time.  To get my hair color I mixed a lot of conditioner with a little drop of Manic Panic Ultra Violet and Red Passion.
I read somewhere online that since Ultra violet is a blue based purple it fades to blue, which then looks green on blonde hair. So I thought of canceling out the blue with a little red. This is the result.

I really do like the lavender. My boyfriend said it looks like candy. I think the pink looks better on me because my hair is brown and lavender is a cool toned color and it would look best of platinum hair.

Candy Doll Lipgloss Review Macaroon Pink

Hey guys!
A while back when Sasa was having one of those buy $19 get free shipping sales I purchase one of the Candy Glosses.

Candy Doll is a Japanese brand of makeup and it is produced by Tsubasa Masuwaka. There are 6 shades available and they retail for $11.30 on sasa. I decided to purchase the shade  Macaroon Pink because I wanted a gloss that would give the that milky pink pastel look that a lot of gyarus wear.
I usually have a little trouble with light pink lip products because at least here in the U.S. they are usually blue based pinks, and they don't look good on people with yellow undertones skin like myself. So I'm always looking for that perfect baby pink that would look good on me.
Packaging is very cute, as usual it's coming from Tsubasa so it WILL be cute. Since I've had my gloss in my makeup bag so the packaging has started to rub off.

It has a sponge tip applicator.
When I swatched it looked like it had a little bit of a blue undertone. But It somehow it works well with my skintone.
Here is how it looks on me. Tough it is not the milky pink I was looking for I really like it. The gloss is very shiny, and  sticky so it lasts a long time, and you only need a little bit.

Overall I really like it, and I would like to try other glosses from Candy Doll. The only con that I can think of is that it is not easily available in Western countries. Here in San Diego there are a few Japanese markets yet none of them carry Candy Doll. So I have to buy online, and a lot of times the swatches can be very deceiving.

Some Things

Hey guys!
I haven't keep you guys posted with this. So this pretty much will be a collective haul.

1- Simply Shabby Chic Misty Rose Comforter

Finally bough it! So happy it looks so pretty in my room. I had been lusting for it since last year, but it are expensive ($80 USD for the twin size) and just couldn't bring myself to splurge. They went on sale the other day $60 for the twin size. So I just took the opportunity, it was the last one at the store, so lucky!

2- Pastel clothes from Forever21

So I've seen that many places are selling very colorful jeans wanted some pink ones, but most of the time the pink is too bright. I'm more into pastels so when I saw these I got them for only $15.80. Couldn't resist for the brown pants, and the lilac thank top was on $4.80. Also who does love a kitty mirror for only $1.

3- Red wedges

These are the same as my beige wedges, but Kmart had a 40% off sale on shoes and they were only $14.99 after the discount. My other pair was so comfortable that I got these.

4- High waited shorts and minty top

Also from Forever21, bought them on another trip

5- Stuff from the Japanese market
I bought the August Issue of Popteen and Ageha ( I only bought ageha because of the free Liz Lisa cosmetic bag that came inside). I also got a nail polish set from Beauty World and the 1 day Tattoo pencil liner.
the cosmetic bag
I think that's all I've bought recently

On other announcements, I've been dedodeing. It's so fun So far I've only finished one cellphone case. But I've been purchasing supplies for more awesome decodeing.

I recently joined Instagram. If you want to follow me it is @nonony.

Jumily Eyelashes Girly Eye Review

Hey guys!
Today I'll review one of the Japanese lashes that I go on the Japanese market a while back. I had forgotten to complete the review, so here it is.

The lashes are produced by Japanese model Maichi and they come in that cute packaging. The price on my local  Japanese market was a little over $13 USD. It comes with only pair of lashes, no glue. They are now available at sasa for $12.90!

The main reason why I purchased the lashes was because the design was simple, the lashes seemed long and they have a clear band which looks a bit more natural when you use clear eyelash glue.
Here I'm wearing the lashes
Honestly I was a bit disappointing with the lashes. They only give volume and a little bit of length on the outer corners which I do like. But, they are very fragile. For the people that don't know, eyelashes are not "single use only", so when I tried to clean them, it was a complete disaster, I completely ruined one of the lashes.

I wouldn't repurchase this design again because they were expensive, and probably I could find something similar for 1/4 of the price I paid for these at my local target, but I would like to try other lashes from Jumily because they are quite pretty and because I'm a sucker for Japanese lashes.
