Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips Review

Hello lovelies!

If you've read my blog for a while then you know I swear by Vaseline. It's my hero against chapped lips in winter. Last week I went to Target, and ventured into the skincare/bodycare aile and found this. I had never seen it before, and since it was less than $2 I bought it.

As the regular Vaseline Lip Theraphy, it promises to hydrate and smooth your lips while giving you a rosy tint.
The  back of the packaging
I love the color it shows in the jar. It doesn't have any glitter so that is a plus for me. As a bonus it even smells like roses!

Here is my lips without the product and with it.
As you can see is not a major difference. I can barely see any color. Perhaps is because my lips are already pigmented and the color doesn't come off well. I've seen other reviews from people and it gives them a very pretty and soft rosy tint. But these people had pale lips.

Overall it is the same as you plain old vaseline, it has the same thick consistensy, and gives the same results. So I would recommend this particular version if you have pale lips. Otherwise skip it and buy the plain version.

The Tiniest Jar of Vaseline

Hey guys
During the week I went to Target to pick up a few things I was running low on. I couldn't help to notice this!A super tiny jar of Vaseline, it was only $1.79, so I obviously bought it. This isn't your regular vaseline, it is the "lip therapy" vaseline, but I read the ingredients and they are all the same! Petroleum Jelly.
I love Vaseline, because it is cheap, and you can use it for so many things. My favorite kind is the cocoa butter one, it smells so good!

One of my favorite uses is lip balm. Here in San Diego, winters are not very cold and dry compared to other places where it even snows. You can pretty much get away with just a cardigan. But my lips suffer during winter, they become so chapped and dry, and Vaseline is the only thing that works during this time.

So Vaseline in a tiny jar is good enough for me because, it is so small that i can actually carry this when me.
Vaseline can be a bit too thick for everyday lip balm, so I recommend using this at night before you go to bed, and you will wake up with super soft lips.

August Favorites

Hi guys!

I'm very sorry that in the entire month of August I only posted one entry...only one!!
The truth is that I kept myself very busy during the month of August. I went to Six Flags Magic Mountain, I went to the San Diego Zoo, and Went to see Ellie Goulding at the Wiltern in LA. And to top it off I started school yesterday. It sure was a great month.

But now I will share with you guys the products I have been loving this past month.

Rimmel Airy Fairy Lipstick

This Lipstick is a definatly keeper in my collection. Not only does it smell amazingly delicious, but the color is just beautiful. It is the most flattering rosy nudish pink ever! It's great for everyday use, and it's quite long wearing too.

NARS Deep Troath BlushYes, my rant of my "Products I will not repurchase" It definatly grew on me, and now I use it almost everyday. I think I was making a big mistake in using the Ecotool Blush Brush because that applies sheerly, and this new brush i'm applying it with (which is the next one I'll talk about) is phenomal and provides great color payoff and it's very longwearing.

Sonia Kashuk Flat Top Multipurpose Powder/Blush Brush (Brush Couture)I saw this on the clearance shelf at Target for only $5 and come cents. It reminded me of the E.L.F. flat top brush, with a mix of the MAC 109 and one Lancome Brush. My first impression was not very good, It is definatly not the softest brush I've used. At first it shed, which it was something I was not happy with. But let me tell you that it is great for applying blush. The size of the head it's perfect for the cheecks and it's very dense.

Benefit High Beam

I got this with the Benefit Feeling Cheeky Set from Sephora. Very lovely highlight and best of all looks very natural and blends like a dream. I don't think I would purchase the full size of this product because it is too expensive and I don't think I would ever go trough an entire bottle of this.

Vaseline Cocoa Butter
I purchased this recently because I needed major help with my knees, elbows and feet. I love the slight coco scent this has. It works the same as the original vaseline.

My New Vanity
Yes I'm very aware that this isn't a beauty product. But I hadn't had a vanity for the last 5 years, and when we moved the furniture around the redroom i had a tiny space left for a new piece of furniture. So I purchased the dresser from Kmart because it was the only one that I could find that was narrow enough to fit. I would not recommend Kmart for online purchases because it took a freaking month to get to me. I bought the mirror at Marshalls for 12 bucks!
I love how it turned out!

Well my friends I leave you with some photos from this month.
