Etude House CC Crem "Silky" Review

Hello lovelies!

Today I want to review this product that has been available for a while. As many of you know BB creams gained popularity for their multifunctional properties. Most of them whiten, provide SPF and have anti-wrinkle properties. All these while providing medium to light coverage. Now they present an upgraded version of these BB creams.

These upgrades are called "CC cream" which stands for correct and care. It promises to do 8 things.
Anti-aging
Stress Relief
Hydrate
Whitening
Sun Protection
Tone up
Smooth Texture
Luminosity

Etude House sells two different formulas of this product. "Silky" which is the one I have, and "Glow". I decided to get "Silky" because even though my skin is on the dry side of the spectrum, I was afraid "Glow" would make my face look oily rather than glowy.  I was a bit disappointed on the size of the tube, it is much smaller than what it appears to be.

Price ♥♥♥♡♡ I actually got this for free because I won top blogger on Gmarket. It cost around $18 on other retailers. A little pricey considering how small the tube is.
Coverage ♥♡♡♡♡ Unless you have almost perfect skin this will not cover major discolorations on your skin.
Packaging ♥♥♥♥♡ I like the packaging. The tube has a pump, so you don't have to fear your product will get contaminated. I also like that you can tell when you will need a new bottle unlike other products (I'm looking at you Skin79).

Before and After application
Overall ♥♥♥♡♡ Not really my cup of tea, but feels nice on the skin and blends easily. I must say this isn't meant to be replaced as foundation, it is more of a skincare type of product. It didn't cover anything on my face, on my undereyes I had to use concealer. I noticed it does make your skin look lighter, but doesn't control oil too well. So my final verdict is that I would not purchase this product again.

Geo Princess Mimi Apple Green Review

Hey guys!
Long time no reviewing lenses, but today I want to talk about these which I've had them for a couple months now. I can't even remember where I bought them from, but since they are super popular you shouldn't have trouble finding them.

These lenses were designed by popular Gyaru model Tsubasa Masuwaka, in Japan they are sold under the "Angel Color" and it's a bit different in diameter than the ones sold under "Geo Medical"

Origin: Korea
Diameter: 15.00
Basecurve: 8.7
Water Content: 38%
Lifespan:  1 Year

Comfort ♥♥♥♡♡  They are comfortable, I can't feel them, but after about 3 hours of wear my eyes start becoming  dry. My eyes are small and have a tendency to be dry so I doesn't help that these are big.

Color ♥♥♥♥♡ I love the green color, It's not too bright, and blends super well into my brown eyes because of the yellow dots near the pupil. They make me look super dolly and give this pretty shiny look! I prefer more natural looking lenses, and by no means these are natural looking.

Enlargement ♥♥♥♥♡ Well it's 15.00 mm plus they have a very think black ring, so they defiantly look larger than a 15.00 mm

Overall ♥♥♥♥♡ If these were available in a slightly smaller diameter they would be perfect.
How they look on me

Tony Moly Cherry Lip Tint Review

Hey Guys!
I was meaning to post this review much earlier, but better late than never.

The Tony Moly cherry lipstint is a liquid lip stain, very much like Benefit's Benetint. Here in America liquid lipstains are not as common as the ones that come in crayon form. Which is the opposite in Korea, because about every  makeup brand will have a liquid lipstain.

I read somewhere online that this product was used by Goo Hye Sun when she was in "Boys Over Flowers" so it became super  popular. Also since I've been seeing that ulzzang lip tutorial everywhere I decided to give it a go.

Price : ♥♥♥♥♥  I love the price because it doesn't break the bank. You can find on Ebay two of the round bottles, which are the samples size that I have for around $4 USD and even includes free shipping.

Packaging:  ♥♥♡♡♡ I dont't like the packaging that much, I have the round bottle and it leaks a little bit. So I have to be uber careful to close it really tight. I'm even scared of carrying it on my purse fearing it will stain my purse. The applicator is much like every lipgloss, it's a doe foot type of applicator which is great because it allows you to place the tint exactly where you want it.

Formula ♥♥♡♡♡ I was not impressed. I find that it is very pigmented and dries very fast, thus making it hard to blend. Also it leave stains on your fingers. I know I have not mastered the "ullzang lips" but I don't like how it looks on me, my lips look more dry than usual, I have to put on clear lipgloss to make it look normal. Clear gloss makes my lips look too red, and I don't like that.

Overall: ♥♥♥♡♡ I don't like it that much, and I just wouldn't purchase it again. I think it looks very weird on my lips once the lipgloss has worn off. Maybe I will try pink liptints.

Etude House Baby Choux Base in Berry Review

Hey guys!
So sorry I've been MIA, I don't really have a valid excuse, it's just that there nothing interesting happening, but  in my previous post a lot of you seem very interested in this product from the Sweet Recipe collection so here we go on to the review!

So Etude House describes the Baby Choux Base as "a  moist and fluffy choux cream textured makeup base that supplies moist and bright coverage for flawlessly soft skin."

The  Etude House Baby Choux Base comes in 3 different colors Mint, Peach and Berry. The Mint one helps neutilize redness. The peach one is for dull skin, and the Berry one is for brightening. I will be reviewing Berry which is no.2.

I love the glass packaging on this one, it looks like fancy skincare, but still girly. I like that it comes with a spatula, so I don't have to dig my fingers into the jar and contaminate everything with germs.
no makeup, about to put this on my face
The texture is so soft, almost like lotion, but when on the skin feels very fresh. This product is not a  base as in foundation, but it is primer. So the coverage is pretty much non existent.

Berry is very light, and almost leaves a white cast on my skin. My guess is that in Korea makeup that makes you look whiter = brightening. It looks very unattractive if you don't apply any foundation or BB cream afterwards.

I felt like it did help my makeup stay nice for longer. The first day I wore it, I went out for lunch, and then at night I went clubbing, and my face was not oily and I didn't have to retouch my makeup all day.

I do liked the product, and how it makes my makeup last longer, but I feel like it is not special because there are a lot of primers out there that do the exact same thing.
After the Choux base, BB cream and everything else

Gmarket Haul

Hey guys!
I think during the first or second week of March the Etude House shop on Gmarket where having a sale. Some products where even 50% off! I went ahead and ordered some items form the new Sweet Recipe Collection, and other othems from older collections.

I guess Etude was very busy dispatching orders from that sale because local shipping took longer than usual, about 2 weeks. But once my items arrived to the warehouse I got them in like 3 days.
Here is everything I bought. It's so pink!

This is the from the Etoinette collection.

The Pink Heart Blush, I had heard mostly bad reviews about this. I didn't purchase it for the product but for the packaging I mean look at it, it looks so fancy! I am seriously thinking about throwing out the blush because one of the hearts broke during shipping so it made a mess.
You can see how some of them are broken

Next is the lash perm 3 Step Volumecara

Supposedly it should give you big dolly like lashes, but i haven't use it.
The brush is quite big

Then here come the stuff from the Sweet Recipe Collection. I'm honestly was very interested in this collection because the theme is desserts. Etude House has new spokesmodels, Krystal and Sulli from f(x) so they definately do a great job at wanting me to buy more from Etude.

First is the Baby Choux Base in Berry.

This one is suppose to brighten skin tone, again I haven't used it.
I really appreciate that this comes with a spatula

Then I bought the Dear my Jelly Lipstalk lipstick in JPK002
This is one Krystal's pick.
This one I have used, and it is quite sheer. It's not a full coverage lipstick, it's more like a tint on a stick.

Last is the chocolate smudge liner. I got the black one.
It does look like chocolate!
I don't think it looks completely black, it's more of a deep chocolate brown, but it is so cute I don't mind.

Well that's it for today, if you guys are interested in a review let me know!

Vassen Rainbow Eyes Greenish Blue Review

Sponsored post

Hey guys!
once again I have another circle lens review that was kindly sponsored by loveshoppingholics.com.

Origin: Korea
Diameter: 14.5
Base Curve: 8.6
Water Content: 42%
Lifespan: 1 Year

Comfort ♥♥♥♥♡ Fairly comfy, I took them after 6 hours but I had not discomfort or drying sensation during those 6 hours.

Color ♥♥♥♥♥ By far these are the most vibrant lenses I have. Usually colored lenses don't show up that well on people with dark eyes, but these are very vibrant and show up so well on my brown eyes. These wouldn't really be suitable for someone who is looking for a natural look.
Enlargement ♥♥♥♥♡ I love the enlargement on these. It's perfect, not too big, nor too small to not be visible at all.

Overall I really like these lenses, I some people telling me my eyes looked pretty.

Vassen Jewel Brown Review

Sponsored Post

Hey guys!
Loveshoppingholics sent me two pairs of circle lenses to review. The One I will be reviewing on this post are the Vassen Jewel Brown.  Here is everything they sent me.

I had never received such and adorable packaging!

Origin: Korea
Diameter: 14.5
Base Curve: 8.6
Water Content: 42%
Life Span: 1 Year

Comfort ♥♥♥♥♥ These are very comfortable, I don't even feel them the moment I put them on.
Color ♥♥♥♥♡ Brown is simply one of my favorite color for lenses. The lens itself looks a bit more yellow, but when I put them on my eyes they look like they have a red tint making them look kind of vampiresque.
Enlargement ♥♥♥♡♡ Because these lenses don't have a solid black ring, but have a faint and pixelated ring they look very natural. The enlargement is minimal, and almost the same as a 14.0mm lens.

Overall I really like these lenses, they give a unique look and they are not too big, and don't make my small eyes look alienesque.

Etude House Color My Brows Review

Hey guys!
So today I will review  Etude House Color My Brows. It is  a colored mascara for your eyebrows.

So as many of you know I love Etude House because they have cute packaging. They are so pink and princessy, and this one is kind of the exception. The cardboard is cute, but the product itself is not. It is a regular tube of mascara.

It only comes in two shades, #1 Dark Brown and #2 Light Brown, which is more of a blonde color. So it may not be for everyone because the shades are limited.

#1 Dark Brown was my favorite at first. I think it looks very natural with my brown hair. You have to be careful with this one because if you apply too much, you might end up looking like Helga Pataki. I noticed that when you first get it it has a very watery yet it is a little clumpy, So I have to make you I remove the excess on the wand before applying it. The more you use it dries a little bit and becomes much easier to apply. It works well on brunettes.

#2 Light Brown. At first I didn't like it. Consistency wise is the same as Dark Brown. One of the things that is very odd to me is that this one has shimmer. I've never seen shimmery eyebrow products before. Also the color is a little weird. it has more of an orange tone, but it grew on me, and it doesn't look too odd with my hair. I find myself using it more often than shade #1.

I like that both of these products are long wearing. You can literally go to be with them on and you will wake up with your eyebrows done.  Also, if you have crazy little hairs that don't like to stay in place this product will help them tame them. You also don't need a lot of product so it will last you quite a bit.

Like:
-Packaging
-Not too expensive
-Long wearing
-Tames crazy hairs

Don't like:
- Limited number of shades
- Have to buy online if you are not in Asia.

Dueba G&G Blossom Brown Review

Hey guys!
I will be reviewing circle some circle lenses that I bought forever ago. It's been quite a long time since the last time I reviewed a pair. So lets get started!

These are the Dueba (also known as G&G) Blossom in Brown. They are also known as  Puream Girly Chip in Japan. The reason I decided to purchase these is because they are very similar (if not the same design) to the ones Kumicky uses. She uses her own designed lenses, the Puream Girly Chip. Here is a picture of Kumiky wearing them.

So here are the product specifications
Manufacturer: G&G
Country of Origin: South Korea
Diameter: 14.3
Base Curve: 8.6
Water Content: 38%
Lifespan: 1 Year Disposal
Natural Light

Night With Flash

I like that they are a light brown, the black rings is not too thick. Due to the design some parts are slightly ticker than others so it looks more natural. The lenses give you a super dolly effect. They look just sweet.

Unlike my past experience with dueba lenses these do not hurt my eyes. They are also very comfortable. I guess my puffy 3 tones came defective. The 14.3 mm size is good for a more natural look, it not too big that they will make you look bugged eyed or small to be unnoticeable. I think these might be small to fit gyaru style though.
