Sea World

Hello Lovelies!

A while ago my boyfriend was gifted SeaWorld tickets at his job, so we went with him, his sister, and his brother in Law. I had been wanting to go to SeaWorld for ages. I remember how fun it was when my parents brought me here a few times when I was little. The reason holding me back from going was not the controvercies sorrounding SeaWorld, but the price! It's $80 per person to go in the park, I mean for $16 dlls more I can go to Disneyland which I think is WAY better..

Honestly I'm so glad I did not have to pay for admission because I was so disappointed with the park. It's only fun for little kids. I couldn't help but feel bad for the orcas and dolphins. Their tanks are just sad, not decorated, like all the other animals in the park.

It honestly felt like one of these rooms in psychiatric clinics where people are held in solitaire confinement because they are too dangerous. They are all white, and there is nothing in there, nothing that would stimulate the animals. I'm not going to seaworld ever again!

Anyways here are a few pictures because in all honesty, SeaWorld is not worth the time to take pictures.
This was so depressive to watch

Valle de Guadalupe

Hello lovelies!

In August it was 3 of our friend's birthdays, so to celebrate we went to Valle de Guadalupe in Mexico to celebrate. If you are not familiar with Valle de Guadalupe, it is basically like Mexican Napa Valley. We went to visit wineries, wine tasting, and we camped in a a ranch.

Our first stop was intended to be at L.A. Cetto, but it was closed for a private event, so we went to the next winery called La Casa de Doña Lupe.

We bought a bottle and drank it there, we also ate pizza. There was a little shop in there were they sold, bread, spices, and jelly. Can you believe they even had a jalapeño flavored jelly! I regret not buying it because it was actually good.

Then we visited  Baron Balche, Sol de Media noche, and a local place where they sold beer and we had some appetizers before going to the ranch to camp. One of the girls was going to make us sandwiches with the bread and cheeses we bought from the wineries we visited and we still had to set up our stuff there so we left kind of early.
The next day was super chill. We were joking we all were now aunties because we all woke up at 6AM! Everyone else at the camp was still sleeping. We had breakfast and we went swimming at the pool. The funny thing about Mexico is that there isn't really restrictions about where can you drink. Like here in California, you can't drink in public. In Mexico you can drink everywhere. So we drank wine at the pool.

After packing, and putting all of our stuff back in the car we went to Finca Altozano, and omg they had the most delicious food ever in there. The place was beautiful too.

And the view

I took some polaroids too
That's it from the little trip. I loved Valled de Guadalupe so much I want to go back!

Comic Con 2014

Hello Lovelies!

I apologize for being super lazy with my blog lately, but as you will see in the upcoming entries I've been ultra busy. As you know San Diego Comic Con is held every July here in San Diego. Though I didn't have tickets I went there anyways with my friend because it's just fun to see a lot of people dressed up, and besides there is stuff to look at and do even if you don't have tickets. If you want to see my last's year entry about SD Comic-con click here.

So, I will start off my saying it was so lame compared to last year. There wasn't really much to look at.

Of course we had to take a picture with Hello Kitty. We took a picture with the Hello Kitty girls too, they were so adorable!

This mannequin looked so real, and it felt real too
This car was driving around downtown San Diego

Guys promoting Sleeping Hallow
Godzilla
Pretty much that was all to see. There was a The Simpsons booth, but I thought it wasn't too interesting so I didn't take any pictures of it. I hope next year I get to finally purchase tickets to enter the convention, that's something I've been wanting to do for years!

The Flower Fields

Hello lovelies!

I know it's been so long since I last updated. I've been meaning to upload some entries, but I've been so busy with school. Last semester was crazy, I literally had no time to take a breather. I had so many assignments and reading material to be done. Thankfully it's all done, and as a mini celebration my boyfriend and I went to the Flower Fields of Carlsbad.

I had been meaning to go since last year, but since it is only open for 3 months a year, so I missed my chance last year. The day we went was the last day of the season, hence a lot of the flowers had wittered and the fields weren't in its full glory. Still pretty though.
Including this last one picture of my boyfriend because I like his samurai hairstyle here.
Sadly the day we went it was so windy it has hard to take a decent  picture. There was dust coming from everywhere. Hopefully I can go there next year earlier in the season so I can see the flowers in full bloom.

Quarter Life Crisis + Closet Sale

Hello lovelies!

I know it's been so long since the last time I actually wrote something. I've been uber busy trying to balance time with school, work, and my boyfriend. The classes I'm currently taken are so hard and time consuming, I don't have much time left to actually sit down, and get inspired to blog.

I had been thinking for a while of all my Liz Lisa items. I think it was summer of last year when I started to not like gyaru style that much. I stopped buying and looking for magazines, I stopped shopping LL which was my favorite brand, I just lost the interest. I no longer find that joy in it. Also, I'm going through quarter life crisis, and looking sweet is not something I want for myself anymore. I'm too old to wear frilly clothes, and I want to dress my age. Like someone in their 20's would dress.

There is just a point in life when you realize some things are no longer ok to wear. It's happening to me, and I have to many of that type of clothes. Also there are some plans of moving and I just don't know how small/big the new place is going to be. I may of may not happen, but in any case I want to own the least possible amount of clothes.

So I'm getting rid of everything. I've been selling my nongyaru clothes on yardsales, ebay, and giving them away, etc. I've slowly put up for sale some items I didn't like too much. But I decided everything must go. I'm selling all my gyaru magazines, and if I don't sell them by summer they are going to the trash.

Majority of my Liz Liza items are up for sale on my storenvy. Along with other items, so if you want to check out my storenvy here!

I really like storenvy. It's so much better than ebay, and easier than putting up a blog sale. It's easier to costumize your store front, and I don't have to negotiate with prospective buyers. The last few months I have been using it to sell my clothes I haven't had any problems. Maybe if you are interested in selling your items you might want to check it out.

Ps* Sorry this was wordy I wasn't planning in writing a big explanation
Pss* I'm not done putting everything up for sale.

Hello 2014!

Hello lovelies!
So 2014 is upon us! I know I'm late by just one day, but I've been quite busy.

Last year I saw a couple bloggers making this year in pictures post. I thought it was an amazing idea to recap what I've been through in 2013. I love looking back in the year, you know sometimes I feel like my life is very boring and nothing happens. In reality a of stuff happens during the year, it's just that we don't realize it.

December
This year's December was not so great. It's difficult to even write about because it is very personal. I thought a lot if I should write about this, but to be honest I can't think of anything good about December. The man in the photo is my grandpa (dad's side).  He passed away on the 18th, right after having a surgery he went into a comma and never woke up. The doctors had advised him against the surgery because he was just too old and his body might not be able to handle it. He was 90 yrs old and he was still working. My grandpa was such a strong hardworking man!

My grandpa made ice cream from scratch to sell on the streets. I will never forget how tasty it was. I'm going to miss him so much because he was such a loving grandpa who actually gave great advice.

2014 be good to me ok?

Cancun Part 5 (not so picture heavy)

Hello lovelies!

I'm really missing Cancun right now. You know here in San Diego is has been very cold and raining. At
night the temperature is º45F, it so cold!!! I know some of you might be like "that's nothing" or "that's summer for me" but here in California we have warm weather all year round. I honestly don't know how people in Canada deal with the cold.

So because I've been reminiscing last summer I will post this las entry about Cancun. To be honest we didn't do much on our last day. I woke up super early (7 am considering I went to bed at 4) We had to pack everything in the morning, and get our plane passes, but we decided to go to the beach for little bit. Still we felt like we needed another beach day, though I'm not the type of person who can stay at the beach all day and do nothing.

This day the water were surprisingly so calm, it was as if we were in the swimming pool. For the first time I actually swam in the ocean. The beach is not very deep, you can walk 100 ft and still water barely reaches your hips.

At this point I was probably the most tanned I've been in my life. My skin looked like Snooki's color, and you know that's bad. I also noticed I gained a lot of weight, the food was too delicious to pass.  So I have just a few beach photos and that will be it.
you see I was super tanned
Well this finishes the Cancun trip, I want to come back so badly hopefully next time I go I can spend more days over there.

Late Halloween

Hello lovelies!

I'm so behind posts. I've been kind of busy at home, and well as you already know, I don't have a computer right now. *cries*

Anyways I will tell you what we did for Halloween. The week before Halloween we went to a rave. I don't listen to EDM, so I have absolutely no idea who played besides dada life who were the headliners. It was a last minute decision to go, so I only had like 2 hours to put something together to the rave.

I didn't want to spend more money on costumes, and I never keep my halloween costumes, I always sell them to buy a new one. So  I resorted to the most unoriginal, uncreative and last resort costume.... the cat. Seriously, it's so easy, just throw in some cat years with a leopard and black outfit.

My boyfriend went as Thor, and a lot of random people just came up to him to have his picture taken with him. He so many pictures with people we don't even remember.

Anyways, for Halloween night we went to a fairly new club in Downtown called "Bassmnt" I dressed up as Marie Antoinette. Le boyfriend as Thor again, there were some kids on the streets yelling at him lol.

A few people asked me how much I spend in my costume. My first reaction was "that's none of your bussiness" I just think it's rude to ask strangers how much their stuff is worth. Like you wouldn't walk up to someone and say "hey how much did you paid for your car?"

Actually I didn't pay much for my costume. I got the costume for $30 on amazon, the wig was another $30 on amazon as well, but it was a good quality wig. It was not itchy or hot at all. I bought new shoes to match the dress which cost me $10 on DSW (they were on clearance and I had a coupon). So you see not much.
