Hello lovelies!
I've been intending to get a pair of daisy dukes for this summer. I've been seeing them everywhere lately and to be honest I didn't want to get left behind. Kindly Oasap.com sent me one pair!
These are their Destroy Effect Denim Shorts in dark blue, they are very comfy to wear them, you don't even have to break them in. Must warn that if you intend to get them go a size up! I'm usually a medium, but these run a bit small, I check with the measurements they offer on their page, and decided to order the large size, and they fit fantastic
The shorts are only $14.90 and being honest they are a steal. I've seen similar items in stores for a much higher price tag and crappy quality. So I definitely recommend to get these shorts

Cherry Blossoms & Swallows
Sponsored Post
Hello lovelies!
The kind guys from Oasap.com sent me this cute knit top.
I really like knit tops and pullovers because they are easy to wear, and can be dressed up or down depending on your mood.
I really like this sweater because of the periwinkle color which is right for the spring season, and the swallow print is cute too. It has a removable collar which I don't like too much because it has gold accents and I feel like this sweater would look better with silver accesories. You can get yours here. It's also available in green and yellow.
Since I went out to Japanese Garden in San Diego, I knew there was a bit of walking involved so I paired it with a black shirt underneath, shorts and ankle booties.
The sweater is so comfortable and soft. It's not really meant to keep you warm but it really femenine looking, and definately can see wearing this for work with a more formal outfit.
Remember guys Oasap has free shipping with an order of $50, and if it's your first time ordering from Oasap.com use the code "oasap1st" to get 16% off your order.

Cozy White OOTD
Sponsored Post
Hello lovelies!
I would like to first apologize to Oasap because it took me this long to post this entry. I've been very busy lately. I went back to school and I can't seem to get to balance my time efficiently. I come back home at night and pictures come off kind of wonky and I want to show better quality pictures. Anyways, I got this cute sweater from the awesome guys from Oasap.com.
I think it looks so elegant, with the embroidered design at the front. It is so warm and surprisingly really soft.
I like that if you look closely at the fabric it has this random iridescent threads all over. This sweater is also available in black, in my opinion the black one looks more elegant. Get it here.
I'm currently loving the black & white color combination, so I put it together with a black & white skirt, black tight and black booties.
I got complements from both family and friends.
By the way, Oasap is currently having a year end sale. Use the code NEW-YEAR for 20% off!

I wanted to show you this adorable cat sweatshirt I got from Oasap.com
It's on sale for only $19.90 you can get it here.
The sweatshirt is very light, made out of a cotton. It's available in four colors, black, grey, white and neon green. I actually like the black one the best because is the "it" color for this fall. The white one is so nice looking too.
It's great for casual days. I put it together with a grey tartan skirt black tights and black flats. My sister said she really liked the outfit saying "it's something I would wear". If you've following me for a while you know her and frequently disagree in everything. I really like the sweatshirt. I actually worn it a couple times. OOTD Pastels for Fall
Sponsored Post
Hello lovelies!
Now that is fall (at least in the northern hemisphere) you know what it means. It's colder out there and therefore you need some cozy clothes in your wardrobe. One of my most favorite fall staples are cable knit sweaters. Why? because they go well with everything. You can dress them up and down.
Most of the times they come in fall colors like burgundy, olive, navy, etc. But the guys from Oasap have this adorable violet sweater.
You can get the sweater here. It's also available in beige and orange and it's only $30.
If you want to buy the sweater hurry! Oasap is having a 20% off sale if you use the code climax-oasap at checkout, and as usual they offer free shipping on all their orders!

I love that the sweater is not too thick and warm because it means I can also use it during spring, which will be so appropriate for that season.
I put together a pastel-esque outfit with warmer clothes for a more chilly weather.
Sweater: Oasap
Shorts: Liz Lisa
Socks: I can't remember
Shoes: LC Lauren Conrad
My mom said she likes the sweater and it's rare to come across a lovely lavender sweater. It's so true! I always have so much trouble finding lavender clothes, I'm so thankful to Oasap for sending me an incredibly lovely sweater. If you want to buy the sweater hurry! Ouftit of the day- Red Chiffon
Sponsored Post
Hey guys!
I wanted to show you an outfit I put together with this pretty skirt that was kindly sponsored by Oasap.com. I haven't been posting too much these days. I don't actually have anything interesting to talk about. But yesterday we were planning to go to the movies to watch the Hangover 3 but our plans were kind of messed up and ended up not going, so we went to hit the bars instead.
As you can see the stitching was really nicely done. It is actually a bit more challenging to sew chiffon barbecue the fabric is difficult to work with, so I'm very please that the sewing on the skirt is nicely done.
I really like it, and I know I will be getting a lot of use from it.

I truly love the skirt! and not because it was sponsored, but because it is actually very pretty in person. I got mine in wine red, and is not too dark, and comes out very vibrant in pictures.
One I did fold it at the waist once, because it is a bit long for me. I'm very short, and all miniskirts don't look like miniskirts on me. So the length was perfect after folding it. As you can see the stitching was really nicely done. It is actually a bit more challenging to sew chiffon barbecue the fabric is difficult to work with, so I'm very please that the sewing on the skirt is nicely done.
The skirt is not too expensive at $29 I think it is very fairly priced. Also it comes in a lot of colors, I would like to have it in lavender too.
The skirt came inside this recyclable bag, much better than those plastic wraps.I really like it, and I know I will be getting a lot of use from it.

Hey guys!
This weekend we kind of had plans to go out, but in the end it all fell apart. So my boyfriend and I just ended up dining at chillis and went back home to watch the walking dead. So I just will show you what I wore.

Outfit of the Day- Lace Mini Dress
Sponsored Post
Hey guys!
It's been so long since I posted and outfit. I always complain about my room being dark. But I found a way to take outfit pictures!
Oasap.com sent me a pretty minidress. If you have never heard about Oasap before, it is an online clothing store specialized in street fashion.
This is the V Neck Zipper Front Long Sleeve Lace Dress- $25
The dress was somewhat thin. So I would only expect this dress to be worn with a cardigan or during the summer/spring when it is not too cold. Also it is short. I'm very short, and I can still pull it off without any shorts underneath, but taller girls would definitely need to wear some pants or shorts.
I like that this dress can basically be worn 2 ways. With the zipper in the front and also in the back. I might add the zipper in the back looks elegant. It comes available in 3 colors. White, Black and Beige. Mine is beige.
Also I wasn't expecting this, but they also sent me this pretty Fox ring $5
Also Oasap offers a 20% off discount for your first purchase. Check them out!

What's going on?! My Birthday
Hey guys
Xo
Monica
For the ones in school, how are your finals coming along? are you guys working hard to pass your classes?
You haven't seen my face in a while so I'm including a random photo |
I'm finally done with the semester. I say finally because I couldn't wait for this day since the semester started. On Tuesday I finished the my last final and went to eat sushi with my boyfriend. We haven't really seen each other for about 2 weeks because I was busy with some research papers and studying.
Yesterday it was my birthday on 12/12/12. I mentioned to my boyfriend that since I was little I had thought about that date. It seemed so distant back then. We went to eat Korean food, and I ordered bulgogi and got burned with the pan, I accidentally touched it when it was super hot.
I had four different cakes, two at work, then my mom bought me a cake and my boyfriend's family bought me another. I got a few presents yesterday, but I usually keep getting birthday presents until Christmas, mostly from family because we don't see each other often. This is what I got yesterday
Here is yesterday's outfit

2 Outfits from the Weekend
Hey guys!
I took photos of my outfits this weekend that I went out.
This Friday it the 5th anniversary of being together with my boyfriend. So we went to a fancy Italian restaurant. This is what I wore. I didn't take any pictures of us in the restaurant because it was dark, and I didn't want to be that annoying person taking pictures with flash. I'm sorry I haven't cleaned my mirror in ages! I got lots of compliments on my dress.
Then on Sunday, I went out with my boyfriend and his coworkers to eat Vietnamese food. It was so delicious, I had never had it before. Again, didn't take pictures because I barely know his coworkers and didn't want to bother them taking their pictures and all.

I also tried to do gyaru makeup, but I suck!! I had a terrible time sticking the lower lashes. I'm using the same upper lashes, but for some reason they look different :S But my boyfriend said he liked this makeup, made me feel so much better. Then on Sunday, I went out with my boyfriend and his coworkers to eat Vietnamese food. Outfit of the day- The Walking Dead
Hey guys!
I haven't share an outfit since forever. This is from Sunday, and since I took the time to take a picture of I was wearing here it is.
Top: Liz Lisa (from Taobao)
Shorts: Gmarket
Shoes: Kmart
I didn't do anything but run some errands, study and at night my boyfriend, his sister and I went to their cousin's house to watch the premier of the 3rd season of The Walking Dead.
I'm not really a couch potato, I hardly ever watch TV, because I hate waiting an entire week to see what happens next, and then comes the new episode and another cliffhanger and waiting another week, and so on. But his show is amazing! It's too bad that is only on cable. I honestly starting watching the show because my boyfriend made me watch it. If you've never heard of it here is the plot. The human race has been infected by a virus, and some have turned into zombies, so the characters of the story are trying to survive in a world that is infested by zombies... they call them walkers. It is gory so it may not be everyone's cup of tea.
If you want to watch it click here skip to 38:00 and you can thank me later :P

I didn't really do anything today, except go to the campus bookstore to return a book. Afterwards I went to the Forever21 store at the outlet mall and spent some the money from the book I returned haha. Post on that haul coming soon!
Also I tried something new with my makeup....nude eyeliner!
I've always heard about white eyeliner to make your eyes look brighter, but I have a warm undertone and white looks very unnatural on me. So I heard about nude eyeliner, so went out to search for one endlessly at drugstores and couldn't really find one for cheap, so I spent a little more than usual on this (review on the eyeliner coming soon as well). Best thing is that it actually works! It doesn't look very harsh.
That's it for today!

My favorite part of the outfit is actually the boots! I know many people don't like the look of them, but I love them, they are my favorite pair of shoes, but I don't wear them that often because I have yet to fully break the leather. If you are wondering I never secure my shoelaces when I wear this boots.
