Cozy White OOTD

Sponsored Post

Hello lovelies!

I would like to first apologize to Oasap because it took me this long to post this entry. I've been very busy lately. I went back to school and I can't seem to get to balance my time efficiently. I come back home at night and pictures come off kind of wonky and I want to show better quality pictures. Anyways, I got this cute sweater from the awesome guys from Oasap.com.

I think it looks so elegant, with the embroidered design at the front. It is so warm and surprisingly really soft.

I like that if you look closely at the fabric it has this random iridescent  threads all over. This sweater is also available in black, in my opinion the black one looks more elegant.  Get it here.

I'm currently loving the black & white color combination, so I put it together with a black & white skirt, black tight and black booties.

I got complements from both family and friends.
I'm crazy in love at how soft it is
By the way, Oasap is currently having a year end sale. Use the code NEW-YEAR for 20% off!

Hair One Sweet Almond Oil Hair Cleanser Conditioner Review

Hello lovelies!

I'm sure all of us know is not good to wash your hair everyday. Most shampoos contain sulfate which strips away all the natural oils in your scalp and hair thus making your hair dry. For me not washing my hair everyday is kind of hard. I have curly hair and it gets VERY messy, poofy and all tangled.

While browsing for a new shampoo I came across Hair One at Sally's. It caught my attention because it is a cleansing conditioner and the description read as follow:

"A salon quality product that provides a new all natural approach to hair care and hair detox that leaves hair cleansed, conditioned and in optimum shape. This conditioner has no damaging detergents or harsh chemicals. It's made with an elixir of natural herbs and oils that clean with astringent and antibacterial properties through a luxurious, penetrating cream without the stripping of detergents. Hair is left with remarkable shine, moisture, manageability and polish."

This cleansing conditioner has different instruction from your regular shampoo. Your hair has to be completely wet, then you have to use quite a LOT of product. 5-7 pumps on the crown, 8-10 on the nape and back, and 5-10 depending on your hair shaft depending on your hair length and thickness. You have to let it seat for around 3 minutes and then rinse it out. I comb my hair before rinsing it. It's has a minty feeling on the scalp.

I went through an entire bottle which lasted me around a month, and here is what it did to my hair.

Packaging ♥♥♥♥♡: The bottle is very sturdy and comes with a pump which helps to measure how much product you are going to put on your hair. What I don't like is that you can't squeeze the product out when it's about to run out. I have to open the bottle and with my fingers try to retrieve it.

Price  ♥♥♥♥♥:  It's $12.5 for a 12oz bottle at Sally's Beauty Supply. I've bought bottles of $30 usd shampoos and did nothing for my hair. So I don't mind paying a bit more than a drugstore shampoo.

Overall ♥♥♥♥♥: I'm so impressed I could cry tears of joy. I honestly just felt my hair softer, and not as poofy. But seeing the side by side comparison it looks so much better. My waves are naturally defined and my hair doesn't look dry. Note that I did not use any styling products or tools, it's all natural. I would keep repurchasing it.

I do reccomend it if you want to bring your hair back to life.

Too Faced Primed & Preless Pressed Powder Review

Hello Lovelies!

Today I want to review the Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder. I have used this powder before in the loose powder version. Although I loved the powder I wasn't sure if I would repurchase it because loose powder is just so inconvenient, it gets very messy if you are not careful. So when Too Faced released the powder in a pressed form I decided to purchase it once I ran out of my old one.

 As described by Too Faced.

"A pressed powder that turns any foundation into high definition makeup. This silky, translucent finishing veil adjusts to any skintone while minimizing the appearance of pores and fine lines. The weightless formulation can be worn alone or under and over foundation to prep skin, lock down makeup, and control shine for a complexion smoothing, flawless finish. High-resolution, reflective powder technology transforms skin by visually minimizing pores, fine lines, and imperfections for an airbrushed-looking finish."

Too Faced product will usually come in cute packaging. This one is no exception.
Comes with a sponge
Close up of the powder
Packaging♥♥♥♥♥ I mega like the packaging the big mirror is a plus. Baby pink is my kryptonite, but the case seems very study and not cheap. I prefer this pressed version over the loose one because it contains more product.

Price♥♥♡♡♡ I got it at Sephora for $30. It's certainly a bit expensive, but I'm a huge believer in "you get what you pay for". In the long run I get my money's worth.

Formula♥♥♥♡♡ So this powder only comes in one shade, which is translucent. It can be used as a primer, and as a setting powder. Personally I prefer it as a setting powder because it controls oil very well, sure I get a little shiny during the day, but it's nothing a blotting paper can't fix. Love that it makes my pores look smaller. I don't like it too much as primer because feel like it makes my skin feel a little dry.
L- Without & R-With

Overall♥♥♥♥♡ I do recommend this product for anyone who has normal to dry skin. It might now control oil too well for people who have oily skin. I would repurchase this product. I'm happy because the powder is the exact same as the one in the loose form, and doesn't give my skin that ashy look most translucent powders give.

Hello 2014!

Hello lovelies!
So 2014 is upon us! I know I'm late by just one day, but I've been quite busy.

Last year I saw a couple bloggers making this year in pictures post. I thought it was an amazing idea to recap what I've been through in 2013. I love looking back in the year, you know sometimes I feel like my life is very boring and nothing happens. In reality a of stuff happens during the year, it's just that we don't realize it.

December
This year's December was not so great. It's difficult to even write about because it is very personal. I thought a lot if I should write about this, but to be honest I can't think of anything good about December. The man in the photo is my grandpa (dad's side).  He passed away on the 18th, right after having a surgery he went into a comma and never woke up. The doctors had advised him against the surgery because he was just too old and his body might not be able to handle it. He was 90 yrs old and he was still working. My grandpa was such a strong hardworking man!

My grandpa made ice cream from scratch to sell on the streets. I will never forget how tasty it was. I'm going to miss him so much because he was such a loving grandpa who actually gave great advice.

2014 be good to me ok?
