Yumetembo Order

Hey guys!
I really like browsing on Yumetembo, but I had never purchased anything from there until a couple weeks ago!

Only ordered these 3 items.

This cute mint pullover is perfect for this weather, very light and not too warm.

I wanted a Liz Lisa "style type" of skirt, it is great beacause it is 1/3 of the prize of Liz Lisa and has shorts underneath.

These shoes you guys had already seen them on my last outfit post

I was really surprised how quick shipping was, Only took like 4 days!

I can't wait to wear the skirt and pullover.

Outfit of the day- Plans go wrong?

Hey guys!
This weekend we kind of had plans to go out, but in the end it all fell apart. So my boyfriend and I just ended up dining at chillis and went back home to watch the walking dead. So I just will show you what I wore.

Top: Gmarket
Shorts: Lauren Conrad
Watch: Target
Socks: Tutuanna
Shoes: Yumetembo

Lately I've been doing my nails more often than usual.  I know my cuticles suck and all, but I've had these nails for a couple days, I tried to to that gradient nails.

Surprisingly it is very easy. If you'd like a tutorial let me know .

That's it for today!

Yesstyle and Taobao

Hey guys!

I honestly have bittersweet experiences with yesstyle. I love their huge selection of clothes, I love that it is so easy to browse the website, and even that you can filter the results by down to the color of the items.

But there have been two times that I have been dissatisfied with yesstyle. One time I bought a dress, when the dress arrived it was defective the sewing was just sloppy. The dress had some ruffles that were supposed to be in the right in the middle, and they were more left centered. Tried to return it but  they made it almost impossible. I needed their approval! I had to send photos and the customer service representative still said it was not defective! I tried until I finally managed to get their approval.

Other time I purchased a dress from the sale section and had some suspicious stains. Couldn't even return it or exchange it or whatever because the items in the sale section are final sale.

These two incidents have prevented me from shopping there again. I usually visit their site just to look at the clothes, but with no intention of buying, and since I discovered Taobao I've found that they sell stuff from Taobao at ridiculous markups!

Here are some examples

 1-
On Yesstyle this bag retails for $50 USD. Currently it is on sale for $40 Here
Same bag, different color on Taobao for 69 Yuan (approx $11 ISD) Here

2-
The laceup boots, they are basically a knockoff of Liz Liza Winter 2011 Boots. Original price $62 Here

I Bought the same ones for about $15 USD Here

3-
This Blazer retails for $75 on Yesstyle Here
Found it on Taobao, even  modeled by the same girl for 139 Yuan (approx $22 USD) Here

4-
Regular retail price is $32. It's on sale now. Here
Modeled by the same girl again. 83.20 Yuan (approx $13 USD) Here

Basically if I would've Purchase those four items from Yesstyle the total would've come to $219. While on Taobao would've been $61. HUGE difference.

Honestly, I don't think I will purchase from yesstyle again. Unless it is something very hard to find.

New Blog Layout

Hey guys!

I have changed my blogskin. Originally I didn't really do much to the old one, except for adding a background, and some things here in there.
bye old bloskin
I was very bored with that one. Last week I decided to start working on this one. God it is so much time consuming. I did everything myself. All the graphics, and they had to be perfectly aligned with each other so that they would look nice. I'm not html savvy,  I haven't customized anything since the myspace days so everything I knew about html is long gone.
So here it is!
I think it looks so much prettier and much pinker! Still work in progress but I couldn't stand my old layout anymore.

How do you guys like it?

Outfit of the Day- Lace Mini Dress

Sponsored Post

Hey guys!
It's been so long since I posted and outfit. I always complain about my room being dark. But I found a way to take outfit pictures!

Oasap.com sent me a pretty minidress. If you have never heard about Oasap before, it is an online clothing store specialized in street fashion.

This is the  V Neck Zipper Front Long Sleeve Lace Dress- $25
I paired the dress with a wide waist belt
Front
Back
Sleeve detail
Zipper detail

The dress was somewhat thin. So I would only expect this dress to be worn with a cardigan or during the summer/spring when it is not too cold. Also it is short. I'm very short, and I can still pull it off without any shorts underneath, but taller girls would definitely need to wear some pants or shorts.

I like that this dress can basically be worn 2 ways. With the zipper in the front and also in the back. I might add the zipper in the back looks elegant. It comes available in 3 colors. White, Black and Beige. Mine is beige.

Also I wasn't expecting this, but they also sent me this pretty Fox ring  $5
Pretty, right?

Also Oasap offers a 20% off discount for your first purchase. Check them out!

Spring is in the Air: Liz Lisa, Ank Rouge and Forever 21

Hey guys!
In a month is going to be spring. All stores are already bringing in all their spring collections, and as usual it is pastel overload. Lots of mints, lavender, pink and sky blue ♥
From Liz Lisa Spring Lookbook
Honestly, I feel so frustrated because I buy and look at cute clothes, but I have no occasion to wear them! I work all day and I have to wear hideous clothes like this:
It's so boring, and then come home at night at basically I just lounge in my PJ's. Some weekends I don't do anything at all, so I just wear yoga pants and some t-shirt.

I'm going to show you some things I've liked from browsing online these days. As you already know I really like that sweet gyaru look, so everything I'm about to show you falls into that "category"

First is my favorite brand Liz Lisa

Ank Rouge is slowly becoming one of my favorites too. Althought I don't down anything from this brand because every time I see something I like it's sold out.

Lastly Forever 21, not a gal brand, but it is great to find simple staple items in your wardrobe.

Hope you guys enjoyed.

More Valentines and Outdoor Weekend

Hey guys!
So I will talk about my valentines day again. I got a lot of flowers, which I wasn't expecting at all. Sorry for the crappy photos, but I took these with my phone.
From my boyfriend
From a Coworker
From a client
From my boyfriend too
I also got a ridiculous amount of chocolate :S I'm going to have so many pimples in the coming weeks.
My boyfriend and I went out for dinner, we had Italian food. I'm not really into Italian food because it's all cheese and pasta with the sauce, and I think all tastes the same, but my boyfriend really wanted Italian, so we went to Little Italy.

I had so much fun this weekend!. It was totally unexpected. My boyfriend is going to participate in a 50 mile bike race so I told him we needed to train together.  Which we didn't really do. We were planning on going biking just me and him, but the bikes didn't fit in his car, so we ended up inviting his sister who has a jeep and his cousin. Next day we went hiking, we climbed up Otay Mountain which is 12k both ways. We didn't reach the top because the sun was about to set down, and there is virtually not a single soul around there so we just jogged our way down. I think we walked up around 4 or 5K.

Picture spam

We then went home, took a shower and we went to the movies to see "Side Effects" Really recommend this movie. It's one of those that has an "unexpected" ending.

New Liz Lisa Stuff & Valentines

Hey guys!
So I purchased again from Liz Lisa. They were having a crazy sale right after new years. A really good sale, up to 70% off! I didn't have too much money so I couldn't get everything I wanted. By the time I saved up enough money it was the last few days of the sale and almost everything was sold out. So I only got 3 items.
Romper
Dress
Pullover
The pullover is incredibly pretty. In real life it looks like a golden caramel color. I honestly hate how these pictures turned out. The lighting in my new room is horrible. It's always dark and ugggh I hate it. My pink room had great lighting despite having a tiny window. This room has a bigger windows but is like light never ever comes near! The only place in this room where the lighting is decent it's the bathroom! I can't take all my picture in there.

I have been considering getting one of those ring lights. You know, professional equipment... BUT it is so expensive and bulky.  The only other way to change the settings in my camera, I don't even know how to use my camera properly. My camera has GPS and I don't even know how to use it! let alone switching to manual settings to change the aperture and shutter speed. It's too complicated.

Well today is Valentine's day. My boyfriend and I are going out for dinner at one Italian restaurant in downtown. My boss gave me a big box of chocolate, and another coworker gave me a rose. One of our clients gave me flowers ^.^!

I haven't seen my boyfriend today, but he told me he also bought me flowers yay!

Vassen Rainbow Eyes Greenish Blue Review

Sponsored post

Hey guys!
once again I have another circle lens review that was kindly sponsored by loveshoppingholics.com.

Origin: Korea
Diameter: 14.5
Base Curve: 8.6
Water Content: 42%
Lifespan: 1 Year

Comfort ♥♥♥♥♡ Fairly comfy, I took them after 6 hours but I had not discomfort or drying sensation during those 6 hours.

Color ♥♥♥♥♥ By far these are the most vibrant lenses I have. Usually colored lenses don't show up that well on people with dark eyes, but these are very vibrant and show up so well on my brown eyes. These wouldn't really be suitable for someone who is looking for a natural look.
Enlargement ♥♥♥♥♡ I love the enlargement on these. It's perfect, not too big, nor too small to not be visible at all.

Overall I really like these lenses, I some people telling me my eyes looked pretty.

Also Loveshoppingholics sent me a discount code for you guys. Type at checkout 1000160035 and you will receive $2 off your purchase.

Vassen Jewel Brown Review

Sponsored Post

Hey guys!
Loveshoppingholics sent me two pairs of circle lenses to review. The One I will be reviewing on this post are the Vassen Jewel Brown.  Here is everything they sent me.

I had never received such and adorable packaging!

Origin: Korea
Diameter: 14.5
Base Curve: 8.6
Water Content: 42%
Life Span: 1 Year

Comfort ♥♥♥♥♥ These are very comfortable, I don't even feel them the moment I put them on.
Color ♥♥♥♥♡ Brown is simply one of my favorite color for lenses. The lens itself looks a bit more yellow, but when I put them on my eyes they look like they have a red tint making them look kind of vampiresque.
Enlargement ♥♥♥♡♡ Because these lenses don't have a solid black ring, but have a faint and pixelated ring they look very natural. The enlargement is minimal, and almost the same as a 14.0mm lens.

Overall I really like these lenses, they give a unique look and they are not too big, and don't make my small eyes look alienesque.

Also Loveshoppingholics sent me a discount code for you guys. Type at checkout 1000160035 and you will receive $2 off your purchase.
