Hair One Sweet Almond Oil Hair Cleanser Conditioner Review

Hello lovelies!

I'm sure all of us know is not good to wash your hair everyday. Most shampoos contain sulfate which strips away all the natural oils in your scalp and hair thus making your hair dry. For me not washing my hair everyday is kind of hard. I have curly hair and it gets VERY messy, poofy and all tangled.

While browsing for a new shampoo I came across Hair One at Sally's. It caught my attention because it is a cleansing conditioner and the description read as follow:

"A salon quality product that provides a new all natural approach to hair care and hair detox that leaves hair cleansed, conditioned and in optimum shape. This conditioner has no damaging detergents or harsh chemicals. It's made with an elixir of natural herbs and oils that clean with astringent and antibacterial properties through a luxurious, penetrating cream without the stripping of detergents. Hair is left with remarkable shine, moisture, manageability and polish."

This cleansing conditioner has different instruction from your regular shampoo. Your hair has to be completely wet, then you have to use quite a LOT of product. 5-7 pumps on the crown, 8-10 on the nape and back, and 5-10 depending on your hair shaft depending on your hair length and thickness. You have to let it seat for around 3 minutes and then rinse it out. I comb my hair before rinsing it. It's has a minty feeling on the scalp.

I went through an entire bottle which lasted me around a month, and here is what it did to my hair.

Packaging ♥♥♥♥♡: The bottle is very sturdy and comes with a pump which helps to measure how much product you are going to put on your hair. What I don't like is that you can't squeeze the product out when it's about to run out. I have to open the bottle and with my fingers try to retrieve it.

Price  ♥♥♥♥♥:  It's $12.5 for a 12oz bottle at Sally's Beauty Supply. I've bought bottles of $30 usd shampoos and did nothing for my hair. So I don't mind paying a bit more than a drugstore shampoo.

Overall ♥♥♥♥♥: I'm so impressed I could cry tears of joy. I honestly just felt my hair softer, and not as poofy. But seeing the side by side comparison it looks so much better. My waves are naturally defined and my hair doesn't look dry. Note that I did not use any styling products or tools, it's all natural. I would keep repurchasing it.

I do reccomend it if you want to bring your hair back to life.

  1. WOW! This hair product is really impressive! Your hair looks much better than before. It's so smooth and healthy on the after photo, it's awesome !! It's a pity that it's not available in my country, I would have recommend it to my friend then. Her hair is really puffy and looks kind of like your hair too :3

  2. Wow, you can definitely see a difference in your hair. I have to wash my hair daily or else it gets so oily. I really need to find this product especially considering it is so reasonably priced.

  3. Your hair looks so good! I have been eyeing this every time I go into Sally's since I love Wen but never repurchased. I have curly hair that does not like shampoo (makes it frizzy and my curls look blah and undefined), but if I can't clean my hair my scalp gets oily and gross. I definitely want to give this a try now, thanks for the awesome review :)
