Hello lovelies!
I know it's been so long since I last updated. I've been meaning to upload some entries, but I've been so busy with school. Last semester was crazy, I literally had no time to take a breather. I had so many assignments and reading material to be done. Thankfully it's all done, and as a mini celebration my boyfriend and I went to the Flower Fields of Carlsbad.
I had been meaning to go since last year, but since it is only open for 3 months a year, so I missed my chance last year. The day we went was the last day of the season, hence a lot of the flowers had wittered and the fields weren't in its full glory. Still pretty though.
Including this last one picture of my boyfriend because I like his samurai hairstyle here.
Sadly the day we went it was so windy it has hard to take a decent picture. There was dust coming from everywhere. Hopefully I can go there next year earlier in the season so I can see the flowers in full bloom.

Tresemme Platinum Strength Heat Protect Spray
Hello lovelies!
I'm very sure most of us have hear wonderful things about the Tresemme Heat Protectant spray right? I personally have nothing but great things to say about that product. It's cheap, easily available and does its job pretty well. I love it, and it's a staple on my hair products. So when tresemme realased this new heat protectant spray I didn't hesitate to try it out because I thought I would be similar to the original heat tamer spray.
I bought this on a whim, right after it came out, I didn't use it until I finished one bottle I already had.
Price ♥♥♥♥♥
Very affordable, and easily accesible at any drugstore for around $5.
Packaging♥♥♥♡♡
It's the same as the heat tamer spray. Only difference it's the lavender color and the spray pump is slightly different. I do wish the bottle was see through so I could know when I'm running out.
Product Quality♡♡♡♡♡
I have used the product 2 times, and unfortunately it was enough to figure out this product is crap. I always put on heat protectant and wait for it to dry before styling my hair, and this makes my hair so sticky. I even thought because the bottle only indicates to use this with the blowdyer that I was using it incorrectly, so also tried it for blow drying my hair, didn't work, same sticky feeling. It made my hair so dry and sticky I couldn't even run my fingers through it. Think of applying hairspray and then going over you hair with the flat iron. My hair felt exactly like that.
Overall♡♡♡♡♡
I do not recommend this product, and will never purchase it again. It's a complete waste of money.

Hello lovelies!
The kind guys from Oasap.com sent me this cute knit top.
I really like knit tops and pullovers because they are easy to wear, and can be dressed up or down depending on your mood.
I really like this sweater because of the periwinkle color which is right for the spring season, and the swallow print is cute too. It has a removable collar which I don't like too much because it has gold accents and I feel like this sweater would look better with silver accesories. You can get yours here. It's also available in green and yellow.
Since I went out to Japanese Garden in San Diego, I knew there was a bit of walking involved so I paired it with a black shirt underneath, shorts and ankle booties.
The sweater is so comfortable and soft. It's not really meant to keep you warm but it really femenine looking, and definately can see wearing this for work with a more formal outfit.
Remember guys Oasap has free shipping with an order of $50, and if it's your first time ordering from Oasap.com use the code "oasap1st" to get 16% off your order.

Quarter Life Crisis + Closet Sale
Hello lovelies!
I know it's been so long since the last time I actually wrote something. I've been uber busy trying to balance time with school, work, and my boyfriend. The classes I'm currently taken are so hard and time consuming, I don't have much time left to actually sit down, and get inspired to blog.
I had been thinking for a while of all my Liz Lisa items. I think it was summer of last year when I started to not like gyaru style that much. I stopped buying and looking for magazines, I stopped shopping LL which was my favorite brand, I just lost the interest. I no longer find that joy in it. Also, I'm going through quarter life crisis, and looking sweet is not something I want for myself anymore. I'm too old to wear frilly clothes, and I want to dress my age. Like someone in their 20's would dress.
There is just a point in life when you realize some things are no longer ok to wear. It's happening to me, and I have to many of that type of clothes. Also there are some plans of moving and I just don't know how small/big the new place is going to be. I may of may not happen, but in any case I want to own the least possible amount of clothes.
So I'm getting rid of everything. I've been selling my nongyaru clothes on yardsales, ebay, and giving them away, etc. I've slowly put up for sale some items I didn't like too much. But I decided everything must go. I'm selling all my gyaru magazines, and if I don't sell them by summer they are going to the trash.
Majority of my Liz Liza items are up for sale on my storenvy. Along with other items, so if you want to check out my storenvy here!
I really like storenvy. It's so much better than ebay, and easier than putting up a blog sale. It's easier to costumize your store front, and I don't have to negotiate with prospective buyers. The last few months I have been using it to sell my clothes I haven't had any problems. Maybe if you are interested in selling your items you might want to check it out.
Ps* Sorry this was wordy I wasn't planning in writing a big explanation
Pss* I'm not done putting everything up for sale.

Boyfriend & Slut
Hey lovelies!
Just to clarified, my boyfriend hasn't cheated on me. But I have friends who have been cheated on, and this is what I've noticed from second hand experience.
Women are so dramatic, more often than men. When a woman cheats, men aren't like that. They don't make sure everyone in the world knows how hurt they are. They don't post on facebook this "inspirational quotes" and images for people who've been cheated on. Yes, they might think that woman is an ungrateful bitch, but they move on sooner. Women not so much, they tend to hold a grudge for so much longer.
I will tell you the story of an acquaintance. She had a kid with her boyfriend, and they lived together for a little while. I think the baby was only a couple months old, and they broke up because he cheated. Her kid is almost 3 years old, and to this date she holds an immense grudge against all men, not just her ex. She never misses the opportunity to remind everyone that all men are the same, "they are liars and cheaters and cannot be trusted."
People are like snowflakes, no two are the same. She had bad luck, like other thousands of people had, but I sometimes think that if she were a bit more positive she could've found by now a good guy who would accept her and her child. If I was guy and looked at her facebook page I'd be put off by all the anti-male stuff she posts.
There is another girl who I know who I share mutual friends with. Boyfriend cheated on her and she cannot stop with the slut shaming. Not cool.
Some women indeed are sluts. But others are victims of these unfaithful men, and those shouldn't be called that. I had an experience which I don't share often, but will share because it is relevant to what I'm writing about. I was young and naive (in highschool), I was going out with an older guy who already had a girlfriend, he promised me he would break up with her to be with me, but he never did. I never knew if the other girl knew about me, but I'm sure if she did she called me a whore, that's for sure. But I'm not a whore, I was used, lied to, and the guy broke my heart, just like he did it to her. We were both victims, but hey it's the past and I've moved on and don't hold a grudge against him.
But the real sluts are these unfaithful men. They already have a girl, and still go after another girl. But girls you've been cheated on never blame the guy. You know that "slut" never put a gun on your man's head and forced him to cheat on you with her.
I often wonder, why do people cheat? My guess is that they are not satisfied with their current relationship, and try to compensate for that. A quick google search told me I'm not too wrong, supposedly these are some reasons why people cheat.
1. Lack of sexual satisfaction in your primary relationship.
2. Desire for additional sexual encounters.
3. Lack of emotional satisfaction in your primary relationship.
4. Wanting emotional validation from someone else.
5. Falling out of love with your partner.
6. Falling in love with someone new.
7. Your wanting to seek revenge.
8. You’re curious and want new experiences.
Which in my humble opinion most of these reasons are around sex and could be prevented/fixed with a little communication with your significant other.
So before cheating, creating an irreparable mess, breaking someone's heart and giving yourself a bad reputation. Talk to your significant other, communication is always the solution, isnt it?

I've Been Gaming
Hello lovelies!
I haven't been blogging for two reasons. One being that I went back to school, and it's keeping me very busy. The other one being that in my free time I've been gaming. Yeah, real gaming, not little app games on the phone.
I've been playing Grand Theft Auto 5. My boyfriend got the game when it came out, and would play literally all day, even when we were hanging out. He sometimes would show me other games he had, but they all bored me to death, so I just slept while he played. But not GTA. It was actually fun watching my boyfriend play. Since it is an open world game you can pretty much do whatever you want. I asked him if I could play... and it went something like this...
I had no idea how to use so many buttons on the controller, since I never really played video games. In time I got a little better, and got myself a PS3 and the game, so now my boyfriend and I play online together.
I made a girl character because "duh I'm a girl" but I hate how difficult it is to make a pretty girl. Just by looking at the advertisements you would assume you could create hot females.
Wrong! all the females look like 40 year old meth addicts. It's extremely difficult to create a pretty lady, and impossible to create a character as good looking as the girls from the advertisements.
Also, It kind of sucks to be a girl in the game. As women, I think we are bound to come across some creepy dudes in our life. If you have never had a creepy dude come up to you and tell you something sexual, then please let me know where you live so I can move there!
Gaming world is no different. Inmature guys see a girl playing, and go after her like horny dogs. I don't have a mic and I've had players send me messages like "hey there sexy", "can I have your phone number?", "send me your picture?", or "do you have a boyfriend?"
WTF is wrong with these guys!? It's like they never see a girl in real life. Just because I'm the owner of a vagina, and you are the owner of a penis doesn't mean we should get together.
Seriously, even my boyfriend made a girl character and gets these kinds of messages.
Well, I'm going to post really soon, I'm currently having exams in school, so I'm dedicating all my time into studying. I want to show you guys a few reviews and non sponsored outfits so, that's my plan. Just wanted to let you know I'm still alive. How have you guys been?

Hello lovelies!
I would like to first apologize to Oasap because it took me this long to post this entry. I've been very busy lately. I went back to school and I can't seem to get to balance my time efficiently. I come back home at night and pictures come off kind of wonky and I want to show better quality pictures. Anyways, I got this cute sweater from the awesome guys from Oasap.com.
I think it looks so elegant, with the embroidered design at the front. It is so warm and surprisingly really soft.
I like that if you look closely at the fabric it has this random iridescent threads all over. This sweater is also available in black, in my opinion the black one looks more elegant. Get it here.
I'm currently loving the black & white color combination, so I put it together with a black & white skirt, black tight and black booties.
I got complements from both family and friends.
By the way, Oasap is currently having a year end sale. Use the code NEW-YEAR for 20% off!

Hair One Sweet Almond Oil Hair Cleanser Conditioner Review
Hello lovelies!
I'm sure all of us know is not good to wash your hair everyday. Most shampoos contain sulfate which strips away all the natural oils in your scalp and hair thus making your hair dry. For me not washing my hair everyday is kind of hard. I have curly hair and it gets VERY messy, poofy and all tangled.
While browsing for a new shampoo I came across Hair One at Sally's. It caught my attention because it is a cleansing conditioner and the description read as follow:
"A salon quality product that provides a new all natural approach to hair care and hair detox that leaves hair cleansed, conditioned and in optimum shape. This conditioner has no damaging detergents or harsh chemicals. It's made with an elixir of natural herbs and oils that clean with astringent and antibacterial properties through a luxurious, penetrating cream without the stripping of detergents. Hair is left with remarkable shine, moisture, manageability and polish."
This cleansing conditioner has different instruction from your regular shampoo. Your hair has to be completely wet, then you have to use quite a LOT of product. 5-7 pumps on the crown, 8-10 on the nape and back, and 5-10 depending on your hair shaft depending on your hair length and thickness. You have to let it seat for around 3 minutes and then rinse it out. I comb my hair before rinsing it. It's has a minty feeling on the scalp.
I went through an entire bottle which lasted me around a month, and here is what it did to my hair.
Packaging ♥♥♥♥♡: The bottle is very sturdy and comes with a pump which helps to measure how much product you are going to put on your hair. What I don't like is that you can't squeeze the product out when it's about to run out. I have to open the bottle and with my fingers try to retrieve it.
Price ♥♥♥♥♥: It's $12.5 for a 12oz bottle at Sally's Beauty Supply. I've bought bottles of $30 usd shampoos and did nothing for my hair. So I don't mind paying a bit more than a drugstore shampoo.
Overall ♥♥♥♥♥: I'm so impressed I could cry tears of joy. I honestly just felt my hair softer, and not as poofy. But seeing the side by side comparison it looks so much better. My waves are naturally defined and my hair doesn't look dry. Note that I did not use any styling products or tools, it's all natural. I would keep repurchasing it.
I do reccomend it if you want to bring your hair back to life.

Too Faced Primed & Preless Pressed Powder Review
Hello Lovelies!
Today I want to review the Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder. I have used this powder before in the loose powder version. Although I loved the powder I wasn't sure if I would repurchase it because loose powder is just so inconvenient, it gets very messy if you are not careful. So when Too Faced released the powder in a pressed form I decided to purchase it once I ran out of my old one.
As described by Too Faced.
"A pressed powder that turns any foundation into high definition makeup. This silky, translucent finishing veil adjusts to any skintone while minimizing the appearance of pores and fine lines. The weightless formulation can be worn alone or under and over foundation to prep skin, lock down makeup, and control shine for a complexion smoothing, flawless finish. High-resolution, reflective powder technology transforms skin by visually minimizing pores, fine lines, and imperfections for an airbrushed-looking finish."
Too Faced product will usually come in cute packaging. This one is no exception.
Packaging♥♥♥♥♥ I mega like the packaging the big mirror is a plus. Baby pink is my kryptonite, but the case seems very study and not cheap. I prefer this pressed version over the loose one because it contains more product.
Price♥♥♡♡♡ I got it at Sephora for $30. It's certainly a bit expensive, but I'm a huge believer in "you get what you pay for". In the long run I get my money's worth.
Formula♥♥♥♡♡ So this powder only comes in one shade, which is translucent. It can be used as a primer, and as a setting powder. Personally I prefer it as a setting powder because it controls oil very well, sure I get a little shiny during the day, but it's nothing a blotting paper can't fix. Love that it makes my pores look smaller. I don't like it too much as primer because feel like it makes my skin feel a little dry.
Overall♥♥♥♥♡ I do recommend this product for anyone who has normal to dry skin. It might now control oil too well for people who have oily skin. I would repurchase this product. I'm happy because the powder is the exact same as the one in the loose form, and doesn't give my skin that ashy look most translucent powders give.

Hello 2014!
Hello lovelies!
So 2014 is upon us! I know I'm late by just one day, but I've been quite busy.
Last year I saw a couple bloggers making this year in pictures post. I thought it was an amazing idea to recap what I've been through in 2013. I love looking back in the year, you know sometimes I feel like my life is very boring and nothing happens. In reality a of stuff happens during the year, it's just that we don't realize it.
January
Made sushi for the first time ever. They might not look tasty but they are.
February
Started to hike more often in order to say more healthy
March
I can't remember anything special, so I guess it was a lazy month.
April
Went to Disneyland.
May
First time I went to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park
June
Reached the top of Cowles Mountain without feeling so exhausted.
July
Went to comic-con and got to meet Hello Kitty
August
First vacation with my boyfriend in Cancun.
September
First time I went to the Old Globe Theater
October
Went to a rave for the first time.
November
Dyed my hair for the first time
December
This year's December was not so great. It's difficult to even write about because it is very personal. I thought a lot if I should write about this, but to be honest I can't think of anything good about December. The man in the photo is my grandpa (dad's side). He passed away on the 18th, right after having a surgery he went into a comma and never woke up. The doctors had advised him against the surgery because he was just too old and his body might not be able to handle it. He was 90 yrs old and he was still working. My grandpa was such a strong hardworking man!
My grandpa made ice cream from scratch to sell on the streets. I will never forget how tasty it was. I'm going to miss him so much because he was such a loving grandpa who actually gave great advice.
2014 be good to me ok?
